_"IPOB Accused Nigeria Government of  Assassinating her Biafra Land Coordinator, Vows to Uncover Perpetrators"_

The Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) has announced the tragic assassination of its Biafra Land National Coordinator, Mazi Ikechukwu Ugwuoha, who was brutally killed by Nigerian government agents on October 18, 2024, in Aba, Abia State. This heinous act is seen as an attempt to instill fear and panic among IPOB members and sympathizers, but the group remains resolute in its pursuit of a peaceful movement.

Mazi Ugwuoha's untimely death has sparked outrage and condemnation from IPOB leadership, who view this act as a desperate attempt by the Nigerian government to disrupt the Biafra restoration project. IPOB's Media and Publicity Secretary, Comrade Emma Powerful, emphasized that the group will not be deterred by this senseless violence and will continue to defend itself against government-sponsored aggression.

The IPOB has mandated its intelligence unit, M.Branch, to uncover the identities of those responsible for Mazi Ugwuoha's assassination and vowed to take appropriate revenge. This move demonstrates the group's determination to hold perpetrators accountable and protect its members.

To ensure safety, IPOB members, ESN operatives, volunteers, and coordinators are advised to take necessary security precautions to protect themselves against enemy attacks. Despite this tragic event, IPOB reaffirms its commitment to peaceful struggle, emphasizing that self-defense is not equivalent to violence.

The Nigerian government's involvement in this assassination is seen as an attempt to change IPOB's direction and discredit the Biafra restoration project. IPOB leader Nnamdi Kanu has been a vocal advocate for Biafran independence, and the group has gained significant attention for its protests and rallies.

The international community has been urged to take notice of the Nigerian government's actions against IPOB and other pro-Biafran groups. Human rights organizations have documented numerous cases of extrajudicial killings and arrests of IPOB members.

As tensions escalate, IPOB remains determined to achieve its goal of Biafran independence through peaceful means. The group's resolve has only strengthened in the face of adversity, and its leaders vow to bring those responsible for Mazi Ugwuoha's assassination to justice.

Comrade Emma Powerful stated, "IPOB does not follow the pace set by our enemies; we won't kill Biafrans. Having realized that Biafra restoration project is on the unstoppable mode, they want to start killing Igbo people, but IPOB won't do that." He added, "The Nigerian Government and her murderous Security Forces, together with their recruited criminals, are at loose to destroy or change IPOB's direction."

IPOB reassures its members and sympathizers that Mazi Ugwuoha's assassination will be avenged properly. Those who traumatized his family by slaughtering him before their eyes will be fished out and given similar treatment. IPOB's non-violence approach doesn't negate the act of self-defense.

In a statement, Comrade Emma Powerful said, "We do not forget, and we do not forgive. It's a teeth for tact. He who kills by sword shall die by sword. Rest in peace, Comrade Mazi Ikechukwu Ugwuoha, for your selfless service to your fatherland. Your death shall be avenged. We shall meet you and depart no more."
