IPOB Defends Eastern Security Network, Says Group Doing "Great Job" in Southeast

The Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) has come out in defense of the Eastern Security Network (ESN), stating that the group is doing a "formidable job" in the Southeast region of Nigeria. This declaration comes amidst allegations that ESN is linked to insecurity in the region.

Emma Powerful, IPOB's spokesman, insisted that ESN is dedicated to defending the length and breadth of Biafraland from killer herdsmen from the Sahel. He emphasized that it is mischievous to link ESN to insecurity across the Southeast, pointing out that the group was established to protect the region from Fulani herdsmen's attacks.
